(Studio) Cease-fire has left much of South Vietnam under Viet Cong control. NBC news team visits Viet Cong village in Mekong Delta.
REPORTER: Garrick Utley

(Mekong Delta, South Vietnam) Dennis Troute visits Viet Cong village. Villagers point out damage done to town after cease-fire by South Vietnam troops. Claim 29 killed by South Vietnam attacks after truce. Say 2 South Vietnam soldiers live in village and commute to outposts. This has been happening in Mekong Delta for years Village has no Viet Cong soldiers. Has a few political officers, and villagers help Viet Cong units when they are in area.
