(Studio) State Department insists North Vietnam playing important role in Cambodia fighting. Official reports from Cambodia have said no North Vietnam units have been seen there. Fighting continues in Cambodia, and more supplies reach besieged Phnom Penh by ship convoy.

(Hong Ngu, South Vietnam) At border between Cambodia and South Vietnam where Mekong River crosses, North Vietnam troops fire rocket attacks at town Hong Ngu in attempt to capture strategically important area. Most victims of fighting are children.
