(N. Sea) International rush for oil in North Sea. Strong competition. United States wanted to set up machinery to extract oil from North Sea in North Scotland. Environmentalists say no. Landscape to be ruined. Unemployment rate in N. Scotland high. People want jobs United States would offer if moved oil operations to North Scotland. Conservationists lose in this contest. Big companies and desire for employment overrule conservationists.
