(Studio) Special federal grand jury hears testimony allegedly involving Vice President Spiro Agnew in bribery and kickback scandal.
REPORTER: Garrick Utley
(Baltimore, Maryland) Assistant Attorney General Henry Petersen meets with United States attorney, George Beall on Agnew case. No contractors appear before federal grand jury. At least 3 Agnew friends admit taking bribes from Maryland contractors. Jerome Wolff, Lester Matz involved in scandal. Allen Green alleges payoffs given to Agnew regularly. Agnew maintains innocence.
