(Studio) Secret Service conts. investigation in possible President assassination plot in New Orleans, Louisiana. Confusion in case clears somewhat. Assassination plot allegedly involves several men. Separate case involves Edwin Gaudet, wanted for threatening Nixon's life last week Manhunt in New Mexico conts.

Gaudet in New Mexico at time. Apparently Gaudet's threat used as decoy to halt President motorcade while search for 4 men involved in possible plot continued

(Albuquerque, NM) Gaudet has lived in commune in Arroyo Hondo, NM. Gaudet flees after exchanging fire with Secret Service agent and local police. [Cnty. investigator Ernest TRUJILLO - reports Gaudet spotted in NM overgrowth, but was armed with rifle.] Secret Service ordered not to shoot Gaudet.
