(Studio) United States Circuit Court of Appeals hears arguments with regard to White House tapes.

(DC) Nixon's lawyer Charles A. Wright argues against White House tapes' release. Argument for tape release presented by special Watergate prosecutor Archibald Cox under tough questioning from Judges Malcolm Wilky and George MacKinnon.

(Studio) John Connally, Nixon's friend, doesn't believe Supreme Court has power to make final decision on all disputes. Connally refers to Court's. possible decision to release White House tapes. Senator Barry Goldwater believes President should release tapes and then debate Senate Watergate committee chairperson Sam Ervin.
