(Studio) Vice President Spiro Agnew's lawyers move to keep evidence against Agnew from Baltimore grand jury. Argument for motion outlined; Justice Department rebuts lawyers' charges.

(Baltimore, Maryland) Agnew leaves Washington, DC for wkend. Agnew lawyer Stan Martinson delivers motion to halt grand jury proceedings. Motion reviewed. Later, Agnew lawyers and Justice Department officials meet with Judge Walter Hoffman to discuss day's motion and affidavit.

(Norfolk, Virginia) Judge Hoffman states grand jury to continue hearing evidence till court rules otherwise. Justice Department lawyers and Agnew lawyers refuse comment.
