(Studio) Drivers so intent on getting gasoline, many neglect rest of car.

(Bethesda, Maryland) Only 1 out of 5 cars recs. proper maintenance at pump in DC - Maryland area. According to AAA, 10 to 20% increase in emergency service recorded. [Stn. owner Bill HERMANN - thinks most drivers in too much of a hurry to have hood check.] Some station attendants abusive if asked for hood check. [Service station association Vick RASHID - believes motorists must pay more attention to proper maintenance of car.]
