(Studio) Former Attorney General.John Mitchell and former Secretary Commerce Maurice Stans on trial for conspiracy. Former Attorney General Richard Kleindienst on witness stand.

(NYC) Dean said he called Kleindienst on behalf of Mitchell. Implied Mitchell wanted pressure applied to grand jury so it would let up on him. Kleindienst recalled no Dean call or Mitchell complaints. Prosecutor John Wing didn't agree. Mitchell testified Dean had good imagination. Wing asked Mitchell about former regard for Dean, Harry Sears and William Casey. Mitchell admits former high regard for 3. Mitchell's testimony contradicts their testimony.
