(Studio) Democrat Robert Traxler wins over Republican James Sparling in Michigan cong. election; 59,918 to 56,575. District Republican since 1930's. 4th Democrat victory out of 5 special elections in country

(Saginaw, Michigan) Voter turnout heavy. Nixon visit may have encouraged more voters. Traxler crowd chants impeach Nixon. [TRAXLER - says many good people to go to Washington, DC in November People do count.] Sparling says Nixon visit didn't affect anyone either way. Michigan election may make some Congressmen more willing to vote for impeachment.
