(Studio) Purchasing power drops 3 1/2%; union wage demands increase

(DC) Construction union wages up significantly. [Cost of Living Council dir. John DUNLOP - criticizes small union locals' attempt to increase wages; major union should be responsible for all wage increases] Metal workers, carpenters, plumbers all look to locals in different cities and aim their wage demands toward highest wages in the locals. [DUNLOP - doesn't think answer can be reached till after 1974 season.]
