(Studio) Cattle business very bad because of rapidly falling prices.

(South Dakota) [Cattleman Jerry KRATOCHVIL - believes many cattlemen will go out of business by year's end if no turnaround in prices occurs.] [Bank officer John DIEFENDORF - admits situation critical. 70% of bank's loans tied up with cattlemen.] Kratochvil lost $195 on each head of cattle at stk. market Price of beef over counter still high, although cattlemen don't get same high returns.
