(DC) President meets with Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and Republican friends, like Melvin Laird, for advice on Vice President Senator Barry Goldwater says too old for job, but he'd take it if asked. [GOLDWATER - says he'd recommend George Bush. If Ford wants Democrat, it's ok with him.] [SCOTT - recommended Governor Nelson Rockefeller, Goldwater, Bush and others.] President doesn't want organization pressure campaigns.
