(Studio) Agriculture Secretary Earl Butz, says food price increases next year to be less than 10%. 1974 prices rose 15%.

(DC) [BUTZ - explains difficulty of forecasting rises. No reason for panic with regard to food supply.] Agriculture production to be raised to curb inflation and boost food exports. Sales abroad to be main offset against costs of importing petroleum.
