(Studio) Milestone achieved in San Francisco, California, as its rapid transit system (BART) expands service.

(San Francisco, California) Problems have hindered BART since its beginning. Finally BART service will be available to cross San Francisco Bay via tunnel. Tunnel's opening hopefully will increase BART riders. Unless BART pulls out of financial bind with new opening of tunnel, BART may be closed.
