(Studio) John Dean begins serving 1-4 year sentence for obstructing justice.

(DC) Dean 1st exposed President Nixon's name with regard to Watergate. To be held near DC for next few mos. so he can testify in Watergate trial. Then to be moved to California minimum security prison. 14 convicted of Watergate-related crimes. Difficult to advocate leniency for Nixon when others jailed.

(Studio) John Mitchell asks that jurors in Watergate trial not be sequestered. Attorney says fair trial impossible either way. Argues sequestering jury for long trial would deprive Mitchell of representative jury.
