(Studio) Evel Knievel fails to get across Snake River Canyon.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(Twin Falls, ID) Crowd talks about why they came to see jump. [MAN - says wants to see someone make $13 million in 10 secs.] [2nd MAN - says want to see good time.] [3rd MAN - says no one knows if he'll make it or not.] Still photos show attempted flight. Failure due either to mechanical failure or Knievel himself. More people at county fair than at Knievel's jump.
