REPORTER: Barbara Walters

(DC) Reporter inquires with regard to Chip's new son, James Earl Carter IV. [Chip CARTER - says baby is fine.] Reporter asks with regard to Chip's jobs. [CARTER - comments on jobs, at Democratic National Committee and at White House with Hamilton Jordan and others.] Reporter asks Chip's view of public reaction to his living at White House [CARTER - says it doesn't bother him, as he and family pay own bills and President asked him to come to help out.] Reporter asks if he'd like son to be President [CARTER - says yes.]
