(Studio) Supreme Court to hear case with regard to forced retirement. Report on ex-teacher.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(Brewster, New York) Mrs. Florence Lord, 70, no longer teaches high school English. School retired her. [Mrs. LORD - says unfair.] [School superintendent Dan. ALEXANDER - says ruling not personal. There are rules with regard to retirement.] She lost case in New York court [Mrs. LORD - says voice tells her to fight. Doing this for herself and others.] [STUDENT - learned more from Mrs. Lord than any other teacher.] [2nd TEACHER - says she's good teacher.] [STUDENT - says she's strict.] [3rd STUDENT - says too bad they threw her out.] She expects to win her way back.
