(Studio) Vice President Nelson Rockefeller holds news conference Won't say what he'll do if Ford doesn't run for President

(DC) [ROCKEFELLER - says didn't come to Washington, DC to get caught up in party squabbles. Tells reporter he believes in advice Senator Barry Goldwater gave.] Goldwater advised Ronald Reagan to reassess his position or not run for President [GOLDWATER - says issue of conservatism is subject of concern to those responsible for Ford's campaign. Says won't speculate on possibilities if Ford withdraws from campaign after losing primaries.] Vice President says Ford is his candidate and doesn't believe Ford will lose primaries to Reagan.
