(Studio) Mother in Columbus, Ohio, dying of cancer; trying to find foster home for her 3 children.

(Columbus, Ohio) Linda Hardy hopes upcoming operation will keep her alive long enough to make certain her children will remain together after she dies. Many of Linda's visitors are prospective foster parents for her children. Sherry, Joey and Amber kept together despite her illness and fact that their father deserted them 5 years ago. Children attend Catholic school; Mrs. Hardy wants children raised and educated with religious roots. [Linda HARDY - faces up to fact she's dying. Knows she can't give them any wealth; she can only leave them each other. Believes her children will still be a family after she dies.]
