(Studio) Massachusetts's Patriots' Day memorializes date in 1775 that colonial troops chased British from Concord to Boston. Presently it's celebrated by running of Boston Marathon. (Film shown.) Event today won by Jerome Drayton. Others than athletic types enter race. 1 is podiatrist, Dr. Rob Roy McGregor, who works with other joggers. [McGREGOR - says 1 shouldn't have to run with pain; cites advantages of running.] 6 1/2 million Americans believe in healthful aspects of jogging.
