(Studio) In Cairo, Egyptian officials say they would like to see Britain and France play role in any guarantees for final Mid. E. settlement. Settlement likely to be negotiated in Geneva with USSR and United States also guarantors of peace. Suez Canal won't be reopened till political questions settled.

(Suez Canal) Egyptian President Sadat to decide when canal will be opened. Canal is Sadat's strongest card in negotiating with Israelis. Sadat planning vast industry development along canal. Faisal City being built just outside Suez City; Sadat hopes to attract more investments from rich Arab neighbors.
