(Studio) Over wkend., President signed tax bill; IRS (Internal Revenue Service) must now get money to taxpayers.
REPORTER: Tom Brokaw
(DC) Taxpayers want to know how new tax bill to affect them. New withholding tables must be worked out so less tax to be held out from paychecks beginning May 1. [IRS commissioner Don. ALEXANDER - expects few bugs to crop up in system.] Tax rebate checks should begin going out 2nd week in May with mailing complete in July.
