(Studio) Voters of Pasadena, California, vote on whether to recall 3 members of school bd. and elect 2 others. Issue is court-ordered busing for school integration.

(Pasadena, California) New conservative school challenges busing program but also extends conservatism to classroom. Teachers' organizations upset, so they endorsed slate of liberals and begin recall movement to oust conservatives. [Recall chairperson George Van ALSTINE - says conservatives on school board have caused demoralization of teachers, undercutting supt., etc. Community in-put in decision-making done away with.] [Anti-recall chairperson Gane WIBERG - says board hasn't given in to every teacher demand, so teachers want to take over.] Incumbent board members say things have improved in Pasadena's schools.
