(Studio) French foreign minister says civilian population of Phnom Penh, Cambodia, ordered to leave by Communists Other French reports say panicky civilians trying to cross Cambodia into Thailand.

(Poipet, Cambodia) As news of Communist takeover reaches this town, white flags appear all over town. Although officials of new government not present, former soldiers of Lon Nol government disarmed. Officials of defeated government suddenly become officials of Communist government No panic seen in Poipet. Some Cambodians tried to cross border into Thailand, but attempt fails.
