(Studio) Former Senator Edward Gurney, member Sen, Watergate committee , takes stand in trial for bribery and conspiracy. Accused of arranging spec. treatment for Florida builders in exchange for campaign contributions. Gurney denies charge.

(Tampa, Florida) Gurney faces 7 charges. James Groot, aide, pleaded guilty to conspiracy, and took stand against Gurney. Cnsl. C. Harris Dittman began case presentation last. week Gurney tells life story on stand. Gurney denies fundraising wrongdoing; admits poor memory. Faces possible 42 years in jail.
