(Los Angeles, California) 888 million gals. gasoline used in June. Prices incrd. 22 cents gallon since January 1973. Mass transit systems inadequate in South California. Most autos still carry just driver. [DRIVER - says won't change driving habits due to price going up.] [2nd DRIVER - says uses car just as much.] [3rd DRIVER - says spoiled to car habit.]
