(Studio) Federal government tries to find way to make 55 miles per hour speed limit work.
REPORTER: John Hart
(MD) Police shown flagging down speeder on Interstate 495. Radar guns can clock car 1 mile away. Police don't always ride in police cars. [Mrs. Essie Mae COLCLOUGH - says will be careful next time she sees bale of hay.] 1100 tickets handed out daily since last month Fine $15 and $1 for each mi. over limit. [Richard BECKER - says not angry about it. It's the law.] Police to continue until sure speed laws observed.
