(Studio) Jimmy Carter spends day working on transition.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(Plains, Georgia) Carter meets with aides Jack Watson and Hamilton Jordan, who deny to reporters there has been feud between them with regard to authority. Watson and Jordan comment on process of selecting persons to fill major posts; say Carter will do it much same as when selecting Mondale as Vice President [JORDAN - says it's important for Carter to get to know people being considered.] Inauguration plans noted.
