(Studio) Thomas Bertram Lance, president National Bank of Georgia, to get high level job in Carter administration

(Plains, Georgia) During Carter's govship. of Georgia, Lance served as Trans. Commissioner Rumors circulate that Lance to head office of Management and Budget in Carter's presidential tenure. [LANCE - has no comment.] Carter aide says Lance under consideration for Treasury Director as well as OMB. [Aide Rex GRANUM - says there's no doubt Lance to be in Washington, DC with Carter at high level position, but no final decision reached on exact post.] [Last week CARTER - said director of OMB to be major appointed Outlines duties of OMB head in his administration] This afternoon, Lance confirms he'll take job in administration
