(Studio) Mexico and United States signed treaty on prisoner exchange. If Congress approves treaty, 596 Americans in Mexican jails will finish terms in American jails.

(San Diego, California) Mexican prisoners in federal prison here want no part of prisoner exchange. [Prisoner, Roberto CASTENADA - likes treatment in American jails. Mexican prisons have no TV's, allow no drinking, and abide by old rules.] Wardens say few problems with Mexican inmates, because of ways to work off their frustrations. Inmate comments noted. [PRISONER - watched an American in Mexican prison die there in 3 mos. Wants to know why US doesn't investigate conditions there.]
