(Studio) Last known survivor of "Scottsboro Boys," Clarence Norris, is given pardon by state of Alabama in 45-yr.-old rape case.

(Montgomery, Alabama) Background of case and Norris's life noted; he's worked in New York City while NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) worked for pardon. NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) reaction to pardon and to case noted.
