(Studio) Natural gas shortages are occurring and industry and government have running battle with regard to prices. In Wichita Falls, Texas, Tuesday night, gas company cuts off some of customers.

(Wichita Falls, Texas) Lone Star Gas Company shuts off gas supply to some places in Red River Valley of north Texas and south OK; all schools in area shut down. [School superintendent Dr. Lee WILLIAMSON - says he couldn't believe it was true at 1st.] People here want to know why there's shortage in state with biggest natural gas production. [Lone Star Gas Company spokesperson Warren FULKS - says price of gas in interstate system of area regulated by FPC and there's been difficulty with supplies for interstate system.] Schools reopen Thursday; some here say they feel children being used by gas company to get price hike.
