(Boston, Massachusetts) Neither Ford nor Reagan have campaigned in Massachusetts, recalling George McGovern victory in 1972. Reagan broadcast in Boston for New Hampshire campaign. President Ford spent $200,000 on Massachusetts campaign but did not appear. NBC News poll shows increase in approval of Ford as President Massachusetts has gone Democrat, except for Eisenhower, since 1928. Reagan and Ford concentrate on Florida primary.
