(Studio) Report on Patricia Hearst trial.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(San Francisco, California) Defense attorney F. Lee Bailey tries to block testimony by prosecution witness, Dr. Joel Fort, doctor and criminologist. Bailey asks Fort if he tried to convince Hearsts to not put daughter through trial. Fort says he told Hearsts that public trial could hurt Patty, but he didn't try to fix case. Fort to testify; may mention revolutionary documents found at time of Hearst's arrest.
