(Studio) Secretary of State Henry Kissinger cancels trip to Ghana due to student demonstrations. In Zambia, Kissinger announces United States opposition to white minority government of Rhodesia. Says Ford administration to urge Congress to repeal Byrd amendment which allows importation of Rhodesian chrome and that US will push for black major rule within 2 years Black African leaders and Great Britain support American policy. Premier Ian Smith accuses Kissinger of making judgments without giving Rhodesia chance to answer.
