(Studio) Scientists for spray can industry say there's little reason for concern about aerosol sprays.

(New York) Layer of ozone which surrounds earth 20-35 mile up, turns back some of sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. Too much UV rays can cause skin cancer. 2 California scientists say some aerosol products threaten ozone. They say fluorocarbons from aerosols rise and destroy ozone layer. [Organic chemist Dr. James P. LODGE - says cost of waiting until all facts known is trivial. Feels the Lord designed system better than given credit for.] Ind. says aerosol sprays shouldn't be eliminated until harm proved. This will take 2-3 years

(Irvine, California) [U. California Dr. F.S. ROWLAND - still believes decomposing fluorocarbons destroying ozone layer. Humans more sensitive to UV light than originally thought.] Rowland believes National Academy of Science report will support his stand.
