(Tselinograd, USSR ) Wheat-growing area shown. 1/4 of winter wheat lost to weather conditions. Large amount of spring wheat planted. Soviet resistance to new farming methods noted. There is shortage of tractors and fertilizers. Those who work on farms receive salaries. Weather determines outcome of crops.
