(Studio) Senator Frank Church and Morris Udall now campaigning in Ohio. Senator Church suggests Udall shouldn't enter Ohio race since he hasn't won single primary.

(Columbus, Ohio) Church all but calls Udall loser; implies Udall should withdraw from race. [CHURCH - says if he were Udall, he would realize party won't see him as alternate candidate because he's not winner.] Church doesn't think rift between Udall and him to make Jimmy Carter sure winner.

(Cleveland, Ohio) Udall depressed by his South Dakota loss. [UDALL - says he has more delegates than Church.] Udall not predicting Ohio win.
