(Studio) United States male swimming team wins 8 gold medals.

(Montreal, Canada) Reporter shows United States team's qtrs. No other nation has won any swimming gold medals. ABC film shows last night's swimming events. Matt Vogel, Joe Bottom and Gary Hall won 100-meter butterfly. Team is balanced. 12 Americans have received medals. Mike Bruner won 2 gold medals. [BRUNER - reacts to his wins.] Americans dream of winning all swimming events.
