(Studio) Man holds 3 people hostage for several hrs. in tavern in Omaha, Nebraska. Police capture him with knife; 1 of hostages dead, another has throat cut.
REPORTER: John Chancellor

(No location given) Man and 2 women held at knife point for 17 hrs. by man identified as Jimmy Green. Green's 2 brothers flown from Oklahoma to talk to him but did no good. Reporter cites events of police capture of Green. [Deputy police chief Joe FRIEND - says Green's brothers told him they could see 1 person bleeding; says that made him decide police had to go in. ] Police say Green may have been on drugs.
