(Studio) Carter already on campaign trail; runs into anti-abortion group.
REPORTER: David Brinkley

(Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) Carter's attention on N.E. for past 2 days. Stand against constitutional amendment outlawing abortion hurting him with Catholic and other anti-abortion forces in Pennsylvania. Carter speaks to 2 crowds in Pittsburgh; theme for last 2 days has been urban problems and unemployment. En route to DC, [Press secretary Jody POWELL - tells Carter what Ford said at press conf.] At B'nai B'rith conv., Carter says Ford admin. has condoned Arab boycott of United States firms doing business with Jews. [CARTER - says if he's President, all laws with regard to boycotts will be strictly enforced.]
