(Studio) Notes snow in Miami, Florida. In Tampa, notes 1/2" of snow. Orange crop endangered and growers worried. Potomac River is solid ice.

(New York) Tanker freezes in Hudson River. Other tankers formed convoy. Coast Guard sends patrols along Hudson to break through ice and keep river open. Their difficulty noted. Great South Bay, off Long Island, frozen solid. Clam boats can't operate. In Delaware River below Philadelphia, wheat freighter ran aground. Reasons cited.
