(Studio) President Carter would barely recognize energy plan as own, now that it's been through Congress

(DC) Senator Finance Committee votes out taxes on companies not converting to coal; has already-defeated crude oil tax. [Russell LONG - notes length of time needed to get taxes out of committee Bill will have to move ahead without tax section.] [Abraham RIBICOFF - says committee and plan are a mess; that it's complete confusion and no leadership is coming from White House or anywhere else.] Further committee discussion with regard to tax breaks.
