(Studio) Gerald Ford lectures at Yale today.
REPORTER: David Brinkley

(New Haven, Connecticut) Ford to be Chubb Fellow at Yale for 2 days. Ford says he hopes Carter administration will push for human rights; says it would have been wise for him to have met with USSR author Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn at White House [FORD - says situation not adequately explained and administration could have done better job.] Ford meets with former Yale football coach. Harry Truman was also Chubb Fellow at Yale.
