(Studio) Rescue efforts continue in Tower City, Pennsylvania, to get to trapped miners in collapsed mine. One, Ronald Adley, known to be alive.

(Tower City, Pennsylvania) Report on rescue efforts and Adley's background noted. [WOMAN - says everyone very happy about finding Adley.] [MAN - says he knows Adley and if water didn't hurt him, he's ok.] Federal mine officer John Shutack says Adley in good health and spirits. [SHUTACK - says Adley wanted chewing tobacco and got it, and drink of whiskey and didn't get it.] Drilling process to get to Adley noted.
