(Studio) After Monday's helicopter crash on New York City shuttle service, New York Airways wants to continue service, but mayor doesn't.

(NYC) Federal investigators believe faulty landing gear caused helicopter to tip and blades to smash into roof of Pan American Building [National Transport. Safety Board spokesperson Philip HOGUE - lists factors examined in investigating crash.] Some helicopter pilots have always objected to rooftop heliports in congested downtown areas. [PILOT - cites objections, due to crowds endangered.] Mayor Abraham Beame says heliport will be closed till investigation finished and maybe permanently.
