(Studio) Saudi Arabia's Prince Fahd tells President Carter there'll be no oil embargo to press for Mid. East peace and that Saudi Arabia will accept existence of Israel and give assurances of security once there's settlement.
REPORTER: David Brinkley
(DC) Not clear if Fahd gave Carter direct assurances with regard to oil embargo, or that it wouldn't happen if war broke out. [CARTER - says Fahd expresses hope that Israel will be assured of Saudis' inclinations toward protection of Israel's security.] Such assurances probably depend on Israeli withdrawal from all territory occupied in 1967 war.
