(Studio) 16 young children testify at murder trial in Detroit.
REPORTER: John Chancellor
(Detroit, Michigan) [PARENT - upset over bringing child to testify.] [CHILDREN - react to events.] Children witnessed death of teacher Betty McCaster by her estranged husband, Al Lewis. Judge Patricia Boyle questions each child separately about murder. Prosecutor John Thompson questions each child on witness stand. 7 year old Pamela Burnett points out Lewis as murderer then bursts into tears.
